    Alberta Parks is excited to announce a series of new events happening this winter at Crimson Lake Provincial Park. Introducing Crimson Lake Snowy Saturdays! Crimson Lake store will be open and staffed eight consecutive Saturdays from mid-Jan to mid-March, 10am – 3pm. In addition to our regular winter opportunities (groomed cross-country, snowshoeing & fat-bike trails, ice fishing, winter camping etc.) we will be enticing people from the Central AB area to Crimson Lake to enjoy: • Free family activities – snow fort building, snowman contest, self-guided interpretive programs • Snowshoe rentals • Warm-up firepit • Concession – store will be open selling hot drinks, snacks, firewood, hot dogs for roasting etc • Information on winter recreation in AB Parks Check Poster

  2. First Annual Rocky's Freezin' for a Reason Polar Bear Dip

    February 17, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ Crimson Lake Provincial Park

    The First Annual Rocky's Freezin' for a Reason Polar Bear dip at Crimson Lake Provincial Park on Family Day weekend. This event aims to raise funds for non-profit organizations within the Town of Rocky Mountain House and surrounding areas. Each dipper will raise a minimum of $100 towards the charity of their choice from the approved Charity list. Free for public to come cheer the dippers on!
