Home Support Services
Home Support Aides, are
caring responsible persons who
provide in-home care to families and individuals.
The criterion for entry to the Home Support program is a medical or social problem that would render a person incapable of functioning independently of their own home. The fees charged to private clients are on a sliding scale based on taxable income. Subsidies are provided under agreements with Clearwater County, Lacombe County, Town of Rocky Mountain House and Village of Caroline FCSS Programs. Personal
Care:
Home Support Aides are available to provide personal care, including bathing assistance to those who are in need of assistance. Homemaking: Home Support Aides are available to provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping for those in need. Palliative Care: Extends palliative care to the terminally ill individual who prefers to remain at home. Respite: A Home Support Aide can care for a loved one while the primary caregiver gets a break time to go out of the home or just to do other things. Provides temporary relief for the caregiver to promote and maintain their health and well-being. Client Transportation Services/Escort Services: Home Support Aides can transport clients to shopping, medical appointments or community events. If you or anyone in your family
