became part of West Country Family Service
in 1981 and has contributed to the independence and well-being of many
citizens of Rocky Mountain House since that time.
Nutritious meals are prepared by staff at Westview Lodge, and delivered by volunteers weekdays at noon in Rocky Mountain House. Meals are offered at a subsidized cost. The subsidy is generously provided by Rocky Mountain House Royal Canadian Legion, Next-to-New, and private and corporate donations. Drivers Wanted:
Meals on Wheels Volunteer Drivers Needed
Do you have 1 hour once a month? Get together with a friend and volunteer to deliver meals within Rocky Mountain House. Help seniors and others maintain good nutrition. Meals are delivered between 11:30 AM and 12:30 noon from the kitchen at Westview Lodge. Requirements: Valid driver’s license, Access to a reliable vehicle A clear police records check. One hour between 11:30 and 12:30 on your chosen day, and a smile! If you or anyone in your family
