Mailing of Combined Property Assessment and Tax Notices

The Assessment Roll and Taxation Roll of the Town of Rocky Mountain House, made under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, have been prepared.  Combined Property Assessment and Tax Notices will be mailed May 2018. 

The Assessment Roll is open for inspection during regular business hours at the Town of Rocky Mountain House located at 5116 – 50 Avenue.

If you don’t agree with your property assessment, there are steps that you can take to try to resolve your concern before you file a formal complaint.  Contact the Tax Clerk at the Town Office.

An assessed person or taxpayer wishing to appeal any assessment must do so in writing within sixty (60) days from the mailing date of the Notices.  Appeal forms are available at the Town office and must be returned to the Tax Clerk.  The “Final Date of Appeal” is a legislated time limit and cannot be extended under any circumstances.   Additional important information regarding the Appeal process can be found on the reverse side of the Notice.
