Particulars: Lodge: Six guestrooms all with private baths and a choice of B & B or half board arrangement. No phones or TV.
Three self-contained units for guests who like to look after themselves and prepare their own meals. Guests are required to bring their own groceries. These have fully equipped kitchens, private bath with shower, woodstoves, patio and are fully winterized. No phones or TV.
Minimum stays of two to three nights apply in high season, on public holidays and for our self-contained units. Rate reductions on stays of four nights or longer. Advance reservations are advisable.
We are open all season and activity packages are available. Please check our website for more information. This eco-tourism retreat is for people concerned about our environment and want to get away from it all. Enjoy the scenic areas around Abraham Lake, Kootney Plains, or explore the Eastern front ranges. Hike, bike, trail ride, snowshoe, dog sled, x-country ski or ice climb. Location: Just south of Caroline (call for directions).
Particulars: Two lodges the Creek Side Lodge which is dormitory style and sleeps 128 (4 bunks to a room). The Aspen Ridge Lodge has 26 rooms complete with queen size bed and individual bathroom and accommodates 100 people. Buffet style meals, snacks and coffee breaks are included in rates.
Outdoor sports include volleyball, softball, football and soccer areas. Surrounding hiking trails become ski paths in winter, horseback rides and hayrides arranged at a reasonable fee. Indoors enjoy the heated swimming and wading pool, hot tub, audiovisual stations with movies and our brand new gymnasium.
Notes: Camp Caroline is run by the Alberta Baptist Association (non-profit). Caters to conferences, seminars, school bands, outdoor education, family reunions, church retreats and more. 320 acre facility.

Particulars: 4000 sp. ft. cedar bungalow that can accommodates up to 30 people in dormitory style rooms. Two large washrooms with showers and lots of hot water. Meals are family style at specified times. Hot tub on site. Handicap accessible.
COE offers year round outdoor educational programs including rock climbing and rappelling, mountaineering, caving, kayaking, skiing, ice climbing, wilderness safety and a character development program. Lodge and services available for small and large groups. Camping is available (no services).

Particulars: One full service cabin with all the amenities including kitchen, private washroom and stunning lake view. Four rustic cabins that sleep two each. Each is equipped with a queen-size bed, sofa, propane fireplace, propane lights, fire pit, picnic table, BBQ, bedding and towels for two persons. They do not have power, running water or indoor facilities. There is an outdoor privy within an easy distance as well as access to the shower house. Located in a prime spot in the resort.
Amenities: Mini golf (fee), 9-hole Frisbee Golf, playground, volleyball, store, coin laundry, gas station, gift shop, licensed dining, chapel and event tent. 140 site family campground and a 44 unit hotel. RV rentals are available. Wireless internet available (fee). Open seasonal from May thru to mid September. Enjoy the beautiful sightseeing in the area.

Particulars: Frontier Lodge is located on a beautiful lake in the Rockies near Nordegg. Surrounded by woods and wildlife, the camp has a truly wilderness atmosphere that is relaxing and inspiring.
A wide variety of outdoor programs are offered, including mountain biking, rock climbing, white-water canoeing, hiking, caving and rappelling. In the winter, groups enjoy exciting adventure like ice climbing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, orienteering and survival training.
Summer camps are offered for 11 year olds through adults, and include wilderness camp, mountain bike camps, fly fishing and photography camps. There is also a 3-week long leadership training program called S.A.L.T. for those of high school age. A Family Camp and the popular “Fat Tire” mountain bike festival are held each summer as well.
Other unique programs include the 3 month long Ascend Adventure Bible School held each fall and the Marriage Adventure Program (MAP) including weekend marriage preparation and marriage enrichment courses combined with outdoor adventures.
Frontier Lodge is also open year-round as a retreat/conference centre. Groups looking for a place to hold a business conference, school outdoor ed. class, church retreat or to do wilderness activities can contact the camp to customize their program.
The camp specializes in youth retreats and school outdoor education. Reservations must be made in advance.

Location: Follow Hwy 11 west from Rocky Mtn. House to the Crimson Lake turnoff (Hwy 752). Turn right and follow the road until you come to the Camp on the left hand side of the road.

Particulars: Wolf Willow Lodge is a beautifully handcrafted 10 bedroom log lodge that sleeps up to 20 people. The Lodge has a small conference room, and a Keeping Room with fireplace and library.
The A Frame Cabins have fully equipped kitchenettes. Each has 2 double beds, 3 singles and sleeps up to 7. Camping and tenting available. Bathhouse has showers, sinks and toilets since some of the cabins do not have indoor plumbing. Meals are available for
groups of 10 or more in the Goldfinch Dining Lodge. Other large log structure on site is the “Sees-The-Sun” Gathering Place. Meeting space and meals are available for groups.
Activities: Fishing (Prairie Creek, Swan Creek and Struble Lake) close by,
nature walks, mountain biking (on cross-country ski trails) Cross –country skiing, birding, fire pit, and the very popular hot tub.
Note: The name Terratima combines the Latin word for Earth and the Inuit word for friendship meaning you’ll leave the lodge feeling as though you have touched a part of the earth.

Cabins: 11 cabins available, three, 2 bedroom cabins that sleep three couples, three, bachelor cabins that sleep 1 couple and four, 1 bedroom cabins that sleep 2 couples. All are fully self contained cabins in a resort setting.
Camping Sites: Serviced RV sites are available to the public, subject to availability.
Particulars: Open year round. Two large heated pools, hot tubs, playground, public phone, laundry facilities and handicap accessible. Fast food and groceries are available at the store (seasonal). Sunday pancake breakfast and recreational programs held throughout the summer. Go trail riding or check out the free petting zoo (seasonal). The camping area includes a shelter, tap water, firewood, propane, dumping station, showers and handicap accessible. Golf course is only minutes away along with several nearby boating and fishing lakes. Crimson Lake is within walking distance. Snowmobile and cross-country skiing in the area.
