Stay tuned - a Business Walk will be scheduled for 2026.
In 2025, representatives from the Town and Community Futures Central Alberta participated in a Business Walk and successfully connected with 60 local businesses.
The Business Walk is part of the Town's business retention strategy and helps our Economic Development Department gather information to help shape future programs, policies and resources to assist the local business community.
Key objectives:
- Provide owners/managers a point of contact within the Town of Rocky Mountain House and enhance communication between staff and the business community.
- Express our gratitude to businesses that have chose to establish operations in Rocky Mountain House.
- Learn more about business operations, future plans, and barriers to business operation within the Town of Rocky Mountain House.
- Highlight success stories and give businesses in our community recognition and exposure.
- Gather information to assist with referring customers to suppliers.
- Act as an avenue to connect local companies with resources to support growth, expansion, sustainability and networking opportunities.
