The Town of Rocky Mountain House invites applications for the Youth Advisory Council. The Youth Advisory Committee has a mandate to provide advice and recommendations to Council on issues and opportunities involving or affecting Youth in our community. This is an excellent opportunity for Youth to become involved and learn about local government. Applicants must be enrolled in a local school, between grades 8 and grade 12. The Term for a position on the Youth Advisory Council is two (2) years. Meetings are held once every two months, with a meeting time to be determined. ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE MUSEUM OPERATIONS BOARD - 1 MEMBER
The Rocky Mountain House Museum Operations Board is an advisory board to the Rocky Mountain House Reunion Historical Society regarding the overall operation of the Museum building. CLEARWATER REGIONAL FAMILY & COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES (CRFCSS) – 1 MEMBER
The Clearwater Regional Family & Community Support Services (CRFCSS) Board requires one public member to fill a vacating position. The applicant must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House. This position will provide assistance in developing policies and guidelines and making recommendations to Town Council regarding Family and Community Support Services in the Clearwater Region. The Board meets approximately ten times a year on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, excluding July and August, at 12:00 Noon. This is a one-year appointment to fill the vacating member’s position, commencing after the Organizational Meeting held in October, 2020. ROCKY SENIOR HOUSING COUNCIL – 1 MEMBER
The Town of Rocky Mountain House invites applications for one (1) public member at large to sit on the Rocky Senior Housing Council Board. The Rocky Senior Housing Council has a mandate to provide affordable housing for senior citizens who are functionally independent with the assistance available through existing community-based services and who would not be more appropriately provided for in a health care facility. The board provides governance of Westview Lodge and five independent seniors' residences in the area.

ROCKY LIBRARY BOARD – 2 MEMBERS
The Town of Rocky Mountain House invites applications for two (2) public members at large to sit on the Library Board. The board provides governance for the Town of Rocky Mountain House Library. Library board trustees serve three-year terms with an option to reapply. Trustees may serve for no more than three consecutive three-year terms. Interim appointments are not included in calculating length of terms. A trustee who has served three consecutive three-year terms is not eligible for re-appointment for a period of one year following the end of the third term. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of every month, except July and August, at 7 p.m. This is a three-year appointment commencing Jan. 1, 2021. MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION – 3 MEMBERS
The Town of Rocky Mountain House invites applications for three (3) public members at large from the Town. Members for the board must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House or be principally employed in the Town of Rocky Mountain House. The Municipal Planning Commission hears and rules on applications pertaining to the Land Use Bylaw.

RECREATION, PARKS & COMMUNITY SERVICE BOARD – 1 MEMBER
The Recreation, Parks and Community Services Board requires one (1) member from the Town of Rocky Mountain House to provide assistance in developing policies and guidelines and making recommendations to both the Town of Rocky Mountain House and Clearwater County on matters relating to the Christenson Sports & Wellness Centre, Credit Union Co-op Aquatic Centre, Lou Soppit Community Centre, Recreational Programming, athletic fields, and playgrounds.
The Board meets on the first Wednesday of each month excluding July and August at 6:30 p.m. This is a three (3) year appointment commencing directly after the Town’s Organizational Meeting, held in October 2020.

ROCKY/CLEARWATER PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION SOCIETY – 2 MEMBERS
The Rocky/Clearwater Physician Recruitment and Retention Society requires two (2) public members. The Member must be a resident of the Town of Rocky Mountain House. This position will provide assistance in building a sustainable system for physician recruitment and retention that will ensure ongoing physician and other health services to the community.
The Board meets on a Monday evening every month, at 7:00 pm. This is a two (2) year appointment commencing November 1, 2019.
